RISING is a new series from U.S. Soccer highlighting our younger players we're excited about, all the while telling stories that matter to them. In this piece, goalkeeper Zack Steffen opened to us about growing up in Pennsylvania, his career path, and how his family has been pivotal through all of it. Largely shot by others within U.S. Soccer on a mix of Sony FS7, RED, Panasonic GH5, and DJI Phantom 4, I was excited to jump in and edit this one to help Zack tell his story. Edited in Adobe Premiere. Color done in Chicago by colleagues at U.S. Soccer.

In this RISING video, Tyler Adams walks through his daily grind, driving nearly two hours to training from upstate New York to suburban New Jersey...a trip he's made for over half a decade. Edited in Adobe Premiere. Color done in Chicago by colleagues at U.S. Soccer.

The GOAT in the women's game; Carli's story was put into my hands to help illustrate her entering the latter stages of her career, all the while doing it her way. Shot by my colleagues at U.S. Soccer and edited by myself in Premiere.

Whether you love her or hate her, she's a character, and one that demands attention. There's a reason she's leading the charge for the WNT. I was tasked with telling her story ahead of her breakout 2019 Women's World Cup.

Shot on a Sony FS7, Canon C100, and Panasonic GH5 (along with a cutaway to a GoPro Hero 5 Black), #TheRoweBoat was one of the more fun series of videos we got to make during this camp. This one, featuring Walker Zimmerman, is definitely my favorite. We had to leave a lot on the cutting room floor. Edited and colored in Premiere.

I had the pleasure of traveling with to Lisbon for a match against Portugal in November 2017. The resulting 1-1 scoreline made for a good match and a nice wrap up to an otherwise eventful, yet disappointing year.

The trip of a lifetime. One of the best memories I'll leave this world with. To be on the bus, in the locker room, and on the sidelines during such a classic match is like nothing I've experienced before.
